First of all, this portrait is executed very well. It's a good B&W conversion, the whites pretty much all have detail (can't tell around the top of the dress and flowers), and the pose is good. My FAVORITE part is the look on her face. It kinda gives a "I'm not the little princess you thought I was" or "I'm up to something" feel to the photo, and I love that. It adds a little drama to a photo you would expect to be too perfect and dainty. Great job, and great spin on the bridal portrait!
I don't think that it's the same local. The door is different, the planks are running opposite ways and I see no chains in shot #2 (if that's what you were referring to anyway).
They are both beautiful btw! Getting married in a castle wouldn't be my dream come true, but whatever floats her boat...
Hi Ben and Kathy,
No the second photo is not mine.
For some reason..Prof Fate thought it would be a good idea to post his own Castle photo in my Fairy Tale thread instead of starting his own thread.
Whats up with that?

I just noticed...what happened to the greenery to the left?
Don't want to speak for Cathy, but what I think she means, and I noticed it too, is that, in the OP picture, the greenery on the left is very...."cartoonish" would be the best way I could articulate it, looks very strange.
The PP on the OP's shot is a bit HDR or something (over sharpened? Over the top? Bad?). I see this the most on the bottom of the dress, the wood planks.
Yeah, that's what I meant Chris. Didn't mean to sound harsh if I did. I would love to see the original as well, w/o the surroundings looking "cartoonish." I still think this is a great shot.
