I'm interested in buying an airshow lens that I could also use for wildlife and I've heard about the Sigma 120-400 OS. A very serious french photo magazine has rated it better than the 100-400 Lis.
Anyone uses this lens and is it really good IQ wise?
tried it when it first came out but the AF was poor and the iQ not very good , better than its bigger brother (150-500) but still not very good. If they have sorted this out then it might be worth a look. I had the 100-400 at one time also and would recomend it to anyone wanting a long zoom. Its not the fastest AF out there and the IS is only good for 2 stops but is IQ is great
