Hi guys and gals.............sorry to drop this on you but I know we share alot on this forum. I have as of today lost my very best pal of 10yrs to heart and cancerous complications. I had to make on of my toughest decisions today to unexpectedly have her peacefully put to sleep
Oh as many of you know this is very very tough on one's heart, as the moment I got home to the moment I signed off on the forum she was always right by my side Here is another good reason to enjoy photography as this memory will be one of many that stay forever with me...................thanks for your support as this farewell is tearing me up
Join in and say goodbye to my girl Bailey with me..........thanks a bunch
My sincere condolences are with you Karl, man's best friend indeed! If I may read into Bailey's look/pose...
"thank God he's shootin' me and not those damn flowers" Hang in there, bud...Will
I feel your pain since I've been there and done that. I may have that decision to face again next year with my second Sheltie. You have my deepest sympathy.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family for the loss of a true friend. I grew up with many cats and dogs and to me they're not just pets...but family members and saying good-bye is the hardest thing to do.
Beautiful animal and they are simply our best friends. Don't ask for much and give back in truckloads. Sorry for your great pain. Your wonderful pictures will, as you have said, allow the memories to last forever. My heart goes out to you.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, Karl. I know yours wasn't an easy or painless decision, but it was the truly final act of love you made for your dog. You will keep with you all the moments of joy, fun and companionship Bailey shared with you, and that is her way to say thank you for the great quality of life you offered to her. You have all my sympathy.

Hey, I'm a dog guy also and know exactly how you feel. Nothing harder in the world than having to put a pet to sleep. I've got a 10+ year old lab that's going to break my heart when he goes. Hang in there.
Karl I'm so sorry about your loss, I'm a dog owner myself and my dog is part of my family and I know how hard and difficult it is to cope with such a loss.
Karl, someone once wrote "only a true friend will leave footprints in your heart." And while Bailey's passing must be heartbreaking, her footprints will be with you forever. I am so sorry for your loss.
If I can help...
Animals have been on this planet before men did. Pets have served us as support during hard times. They have been invaluable during the good ones.
They are faithfully our friends. They have become part of the family.
It is sad when we see them go or when have to take the decision of finishing their lives to make their end tolerable due to illness.
Bailey was a beautiful dog. I am sure you and your family will treasure her memory.
I want to join other members in saying goodbye to Bailey
My sympathy goes to you and to your family.
