p.1 #1 · Photomatix Help

Downloaded the pro 3.1 for the third time. When I try the single file conversion I always get an erro that says...

An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attemt to continue. If you click quit, the application will be shut down immediately.

Anyone elase get this or know why it happens ?

Aslo, when usign the trial version it seems to flicker alot. Really weird.

Also, when generating and HDR image, I pick my three images and click the auto align but it never works

I'm using 3.0.3 RC2 and do not have this problem. I'm not using a trial version, but when I was, I didn't see this issue either.

Here is a good place to learn a bit quickly (about using photomatix) and learn about settings that will help get you started.

If you continue to have an error with 3.1, I'd recommend trying to use a slightly older version just to see if the error goes away.

Bill -
Maybe you could outline the steps you are doing? Are you to the point when you select the actual file? If so what type of file? Camera RAW, right?

Hi Bill - Re: the alignment issue, are the original images shot using a tripod and some cable release?

Yes they were ( tripod and shutter release ) but it must of got moved or something because they are a little off. They are really close though and was hoping it would work.
