I really like the nice range from dark to light, but the dark part at the bottom seems to be cropped off a little too soon. I don't know if the original has more to it that you could crop it a little wider to include all of the dark foliage before it goes back into the lighter stuff, but I think it might work better.
I am trying to do this technique Rick, and I have a hard time. I love the feel of this photo. Great composition. The most important is: "The fence". Perfect. Mado
