According to a Mitsubishi Bank investment report there are a number of new DSLR's under development. (sorry, I don't have a copy).
Samsung isn't going anywhere, so I suspect Pentax will be there with them. If Sony can do a full frame chip, I suspect that Samsung can do one as well -- and they will want to prove that they can as well. Let see if they say anything at CES.

it seems like everyone is catching up to canon real quickly. just last year, they were the only ones in the market with a full frame camera, but fast forward to this year and nikon and sony have both pushed their arses in the running too.
