I have been searching for an easy way to provide family and friends with protected access to my photos. I wanted something which game me more control and customizations than kodakgallery, snapfish, etc.. I narrowed the choice down to zenfolio and smugmug. Zenfolio has proven to be pretty easy to configure and manage. It's $30 for a year of unlimited storage (NWRA-$10-OFF) - not bad for what it offers.
I have protected all public photos from printing for now, I may open this up in the future to try to earn a few $$$. What other solutions are people using for this type of service?
You have wonderful photographs posted in your galleries! I found the site very easy and intuitive to navigate. I have been creating my own galleries and have developed a workflow that is simple for me or maybe I just think its simple because I am so used to it. I really like the look of yours and for the money I don't think you can beat it. Something I may need to consider. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks... I had been struggling keep my own site up to date for some time. The galleries I posted were not printable, constant e-mailing of photos to family members. Zenfolio should allow me to publish easily and not worry about the rest.
I used Zenfolio to post PLU Football photos from this past season. It is very easy to use and very affordable. I had the photos unprotected so the players and family members could download the shots.
