Hey folks, this was a 20% desat with some monochrome colouring & sharpening:

This is a look I've not seen, Rowan. I do like it, I gotta say. Just the very small touches of rust color on the object in the foreground and on the largest tree give this a different feel.
Educate me, if you will. What is the foreground object? If I had to guess, it looks like some feeder for horses, cattle, etc. That's my best guess based on the open field and barbed fencing.

Great comment Tim.

I have a hard time seeing the foreground object my eye is supposed to lock on. This makes me feel kinda uneasy and makes my eyes dart back and forth from the feeder and the rusty pole. But I do like the atmosphere you captured here.

Thankyou T-Bone. I've never tried the slight desat before but was reasonably pleased with the results. I think my PP is improving beyond my composition so hopefully they'll catch each other up at some point.

The foreground object is a feeder, i guess it could be used for a multitude of animals to be honest, i suspect here it was being used for horses or sheep.\

Cheers

Good point eric, i never really thought of that. I could have tried a different angle but like i say my composition is still very much in the early stages. The pole in the front is wooden so its not rusty

Thanks for the advice
Rowan
