These are very nice, 1 is such a nice sharp shot, if you were only lower, still what a shot. The hoody is to die for, well done. The expression on the female is priceless.
Thank you, Ed......if you happen to be shootin around Mississauga/Oakville lakeshore this winter, give me a shout so we can freeze our butts while having company.

You are too kind, Tim. As you have rightfully observed, unfortunately I do have a problem getting closer to the water level in winter. So I am forced to be shooting from docks and boat launching ramps and some such.

Great shots, I wish I had these marked off my list

Thanx, Tim. On lake Ontario we get those ducks only in winter. Once the ice starts setting in they come to rivers where fishing is still good, I suppose.

Very nice series PetKal. The first one has quite a bite to it

Thanx Martin, that Vergaser is fairly large and could probably inflict a painful bite.
However, no fear of that ever happening since they are quite shy and keep their distance.
excellent work on the vergansers. quite the variety pack you got there. i've only seen a hooded one once and that was far away. hopefully it will be back now that it is winter.

Thank you for stopping by, Hung.
I am looking forward to seeing your ducks this winter.
You're a realy quack shot aren't you Don't recall ever seeing a shot like that 1st one. Is that a real duck or just some poor dumb hunter's lost decoy?
