That is a lot of color! Nice detail for sure maybe on the border of oversharpened or it could be the contrast giving the affect. IMO a little bit too centered as a consideration tightening up from the left would be helpful. The angle of the head with the beak coming forward helps give this shot some depth as it does appear a bit flat as far as perspecitve at first.
Just opinions, nothing negative meant at any point made

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind comments and agree could leave a bit more space on the beak side of the shot.. Used a bit of fill flash which really makes the colors pop. Really didn't sharpen it very much. Used the high pass filter in NX2 Steve P

This is a stunning hummer shot. One big problem in shooting hummers there is
the lighting. It's really hard to get a good light there so like you did,fill flash is necessary.
