I think Seagulls in flight represent a good BIF shooting practice target, intermediate in difficulty, before one tries their hand on doves etc. Plus the little buggers are plentiful. Our Great Lakes winters are cursed by many days of poor light, yet sometimes there is that sort of diffuse illumination which might give interesting results.
