I keep thinking that the man is looking to where he is gong to land, with the building tilt.
very nice composition; good lesson on how to shot a 'common' image with new insight.

The dark and gloomy mood shows the impending doom of mankind. Kind of like when the whole Y2k thing was going around. There is also an interesting tension between the man and woman.

What I really like about this image is not just the dark overall feeling, but the contrast of the dark sky against the brighter right side of the building. Stark in a good way.
