Its cold here in NJ I went out yesterday to see if I could find any birds, but they were all hiding The big pond at the nature preserve provided an interesting place to get some abstract shots. The water was freezing over and I found these leaves stuck in the ice. The moon is something I took the other night Enjoy these
Enjoy these I did, this is what photography is all about. Great shots are all around us and a true photographer has the vision to see and capture them much as you have done here.

Nice way Brenton to expand the eye, and 'eye' really like the first shot. Has a layered feel to it. Nice comp IMO. If you tinker with these again a polarizer may allow a few different views of the ice surface for you to expand upon That is a rather 3D look to the moon, nice shot sir!
Neat shots, but I really like the "cookie cutter" frozen impression along the perimeter of the leaf in #1. Looks like a Christmas card from Mother Nature.

Karl, Thank you so much!!! You can be a hard critic to please some times, so I very glad you enjoyed these!!! Thanks for the advice on the polarizer, that is a very cool idea. Sometimes when you are out in the cold you loose some thought process, due to thinking about hot coco or coffee Hmm a polarizer for the 400mm 5.6 probably is expensive. I think that is 77mm
