Perhaps if I changed the title of the photo, I would receive comments on the quality or lack of quality of the photo rather than on my choice of a name.
Great image, but maybe a bit too tight of a crop. More room would have allowed room for options in framing, cropping to a different ratio or for a gallery wrap.

The thing that surprises me is that no one has commented on the strange "bubble - like" things that appear along her waisteline on the right.
It might just be the fact that I've been up since 2AM with a sick child, but what bubble thing are you refering to?

Indeed they are the buttons on her dress! This wedding site part of FM is always highly critical and I guess that's a good thing when guys like me show up on occasion without our studio lights,

Keep in mind that the title of a photo is very important if you choose to give it one. It sets up expectations, as well as tells a story. When the title conflicts with the image, it does give a moment of hesitation. I do enjoy the photo, but I do wish the faces were visible. Between the title of a stroll, and the fact that they are looking toward the water, I get the feeling that they're about to jump in.
rick, in this case, i don't see it as overly critical-studio lights are not a prerequisite to receiving praise here on FM (though it doesn't hurt)-there are a number of photogs on this forum who use little to no strobe at all (i.e., Gabe, Sergio, Sam Hassass, Tony Schreiber uses a little)-but they all receive critical acclaim regularly....i digress
in this case, the shot is framed tightly with very little environment included-you shot from midsection, so that coupled with the lack of background and the fact that they're backlit results in a rather flat looking shot
the concept of gazing out together into the future (i'm taking the liberty of assuming a theme/concept for this shot) isn't fully expounded on-if there were more clouds/environment to show what they were looking at, i think that would frame the couple nicely-as is, it's just a shot of their backs-it doesn't quite work for me, but i do hope this is helpful in some way

Great to have you comment, Ben. It's wonderful to see you and listen to you again after these years as you were one of my idols back in the DPC days.
I like it. I think you need to give us a complimenting face shot as well. Would have been received a little better. When a single shot is presented for viewing it needs to be a serious home run of a shot IMO. Post more. Take care.

`Sam
Thanks, Sam. Wedding photos are something I do rarely. I like to think my landscapes are much better.
not too keen on the crop but otherwise i like it. have you tried to clone something out on the jetty or whatever they are stood on? there's something weird going on with the line of it and his leg.
there's also something weird going on with the clouds, or is it my screen? It's like black scribbles.
I agree with those that say the crop is a too tight... I think it would also have worked better from a lower perspective.
As it is now, I get the feeling that you were right there on top of them, and I think with this type of setting a bit of space would be ideal.
I like the backlighting and the conversion works well.
