p.1 #1 · Ring shot lens

Hey I'm just curious what everyone uses for their close up ring shots? I use a Canon 100 2.8 (don't have any pics on me though ). Does anyone use anything else, say a 50, 65, or 180 or extension tubes?? Please post your photos as I'm just curious to see the results

-Good day ya'll

I use the 100/2.8 macro and find it just about perfect in terms of subject distance and optical performance.

100mm macro 2.8 macro here too! Great for Macro and also one of the best portrait lenses I have ever used!

I'm sure you realize there are *three* Sigma macros with an F2.8 aperture

I use a 60mm macro. Note: It's an EF-S lens. Crop only. Magic on a 40D.

If you have a crop camera, the EF-S 60/2.8 macro is killer.

I don't have any crop cameras anymore, so I just use some Kenko tooobz (usually the 22mm on 85 or 135).
