I don't know much about being too dark...to me it looks great..my only suggestion is to clean up his around his eyes...and around his mouth. Other wise it is a lovely shot of a little love.He has beautiful eyes..Carolyn

Doesn't look too dark to me. I would like both eyes to be sharp, however.
Good looking pup. Looks like mine! I always have to wipe his eyes before photographing.
