Watching hockey and messing around with another file from a shoot with Brandi earlier in the week. Having a bit of trouble with the neck/collar bone area. It's the same brightness as the face, but here I'm taking it down b/c it really draws the eye at it's original brightness. But even desaturated a smidge it looks wrong. Suggestions?

Beautiful model. The light spilling onto the left cheek is bothering me though. The hair on the forehead is also distracting.
WhizKid, the "spill" the left cheek is a Rembrandt pattern
brent, i do find the curl on her forehead to take away from the overall shot-on the other hand, love the way the light catches her neck and shoulder-one theory i have on the "shoulder/neck issue" is that there are no lines leading to her face-her head is straight up and down with the shoulder and collar bones running in a contrary direction-the scarf also breaks up the natural lines in the neck-just a thought...
on another note, i'm curious: do you do many b&w conversions? most of the work i can remember of yours involves vibrant color (not a bad thing at all)...
If you're interested, I think I am going to use the B&W version of this shot on my new business card (I have to send the file in by Monday AM, and have been dragging my feet for a few weeks and as a result, I haven't started yet, so I'll put something together tomorrow). For tonight, I just did a quick mock up. Contact info etc will go on the back, but it should give you an idea of the B&W conversion, anyway.
