Decided to do something different for lunch today, so drove by our local eagle nest. I was very surprised to see the eagle pair in the nest this early in the nesting season. Managed to get off a couple shots before they flew off.....

Nice shots Al and the two on the nest makes up for a pair of clipped wings I know how close you were, no other way to do it
Karl I like beer........but, when the temps approach freezing I prefer Hot Chocolate And the issues with wing clipping is not my fault, Ms Eagle was suppose to warn me before takeoff

Excellent detail in both shots. I especially like the in-flight. Our local pair have started early on their new/used nest also....maybe they know something we don't?
