My first post here in the b&w forum.
Shot this a couple of days back.
There were these small webs all over with the remains of the last victim in the center and a thicker web around it.
I've always wanted to capture a web but this image was looking to boring when centered hence the comp.

The light was bad in the shadows hence tried a b&w version.

Have not done many b&w conversions so lemme know how this works...

Very nice capture of a beautiful intact web. Some orb weavers are known for making these thickened areas (stabilimenta) in their webs.

Interesting what we can see in spider webs (a light bulb hanging upside down). Intriguing image for sure.
