This is from Arcadia Beach on the Oregon coast. A favorite little spot of mine, and a great vantage point for watching the sunset. The light this day was very harsh and the colors were very muted as a result, so I thought this would make a great B&W. As always, I appreciate your comments and critiques!

Hey Aaron,

Very nice. I like the clouds in this, and one cool little feature is that small pool of water reflecting the sky in the foreground.

Aaron, I like it too. For me, the texture in the clouds is what draws me in.

BTW, is this the Arcadia Beach just south of Cannon Beach, north of Hug Point? I have a place in Arch Cape that I get to way not enough times a year. Maybe we can meet up sometime for a shoot.

it can be a tuff spot for compostion, but I think you nailed it here!

Beautiful, Aaron! The only thing I might change is the vignetting. I'd like to see it without and the clouds being brighter at the top.

Nice view, aaron. It's a lovely sky and the textures of the rocks and sand work very well in B+W. The coast in Oregon is a wonderful shooting ground.
