p.1 #1 · Queen Mary in Long Beach

The grand old Queen rests dockside, offering hotel, restaurants and sightseeing tours. Only fishermen and photographers seem to get up in the pre-dawn hours to appreciate the beautiful lady, and I'm not sure the "hookers" were paying her much attention.
Scanned from a slide.

Really nice. It shows some peace and tranquility with the morning twilight.

The sky is beautiful. Excellent, sharp detail, notably with those on the dock. Very nice shot.

The tones are fantastic. The silhouette of the people are great. Outstanding composition. I would like to go there... Mado

Thanks for the kind comments.
The whole of San Pedro Bay serves as the port for most of the greater Los Angeles area and its population of between 15,000,000 and 20,000,000 people. Crowded and busy, yes, but when the pre-dawn sky turns pink, red and crimson, L.A. can look especially beautiful.
And, of course, visiting the Queen is great fun.
