p.1 #1 · Near The Wave

Well, made it to The Coyote Buttes and "The Wave" two weeks ago and went exploring around the area.. The three of us had passes for two different days so we could explore around quite a bit...

Went exploring around the first day and found this area.. It might look over saturated to some of you but the rocks were quite red. There were clouds around that blocked the sun most of the day..

Great comp Eric, love the detail and incredible rich color. The pallet of color in the southwest is just amazing!

Nice look to it Eric. I do remember some of these formations near the Wave, and South Coyote. Well seen and shot. The fish eye does it justice again.

I had wondered where you had wandered off to!

Cool shot, it does look more red then most of the shots I have seen. Was that from the lighting?

Thanks Zeph, Tim Barry and Martin.. Jimbo this is from nearby the Wave but not at the actual Wave itself... it is in the Coyotee Buttes special permit use area though...
