Took a hike 11-17-08. Ended up being a little longer than planned about 7hrs. Trail was covered with wet rocks, wet exposed tree roots and small waterfalls crossing the trail everywhere. To get to the base of the main falls it was basically sliding down on your butt and crawling back up to the trail. Had a awesome 7 hours though.

Excellent composition, colors, lighting! I too love the glacial look of the water. You're brave taking a hike that deep into the mountains in November but look at the reward you get.

Excellent, love the silky smooth look to the water in #2. It is really a great scene. The others are very nice as well, but for me #2 is just excellent.

The second is impressive, I can almost feel the spray, well worth your effort. I especially like how you got the flow of water to go up hill on the first What are these falls called, if you don't mind?
Thanks for sharing your work, Ray.

Hey Ray,
Awww... hikes like that make everything worth while!
Now #2 is a shot you should print big! That one really sings with an awesome composition, and great processing. I also like #1, but there seems to be something off with the color, especially notice that the whites are not white in that shot.
