p.1 #1 · Good place for photo packaging?

Hi all

Can anyone share where they buy their photo packaging from? When I give a client a print (for example, a free 8x10 with their engagement shoot) I don't want to just give it to them in the crappy mailer it comes in from the printer. I would like a nice presentation folder or a box, though with only 1 print, a box might be overkill, maybe not. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks Sergio. They don't have prices on their site. Do you know how much their presentation boxes are or the Portrait Case?

Thanks!

DNL for boxes and folders. ULINE for clear plastic envelopes (the 1 and 2 mil ones work great for photos).

If you can find some place local for boxes, that might be better. Shipping empty boxes gets expensive, at least with DNL.

Yeah I have tried and unfortunately our one and only camera store here doesn't really have any packaging

I just got some DVD cases from DNL, $10 a piece and they have these terrible bar code stickers on the outside of the box. I called them immediately and was told NO one had ever questioned or complained. Tried to get the sticker off and it ripped the outer cover. Now I have to get stickers made to cover up the ugliness.

Are you talking about those leather cases with the magnetic closing that comes in a box? Those are awesome, I use those for DVD for clients as well. While I've never had an issue peeling off the bar code from each box, I do struggle with getting the 2 pictures in the windows. It's not easy at all to get the placeholder pics out and mine in without tearing apart some of the sealing and then re-sealing when the pic are in place!

I wouldn't go to a camera store. Check to see if there are any local companies that specialize in boxes for prints.

Submit your reseller's permit.
Request a catalog.

Tons of packaging materials----mounts, folders, boxes, etc.

Those are the ones. I tried removing the sticker and it tore the exterior terribly. The two images in them are tight! , gotta wiggle them out.

www.paperpresentation.com has some very unique & elegant folding folders that fit 8x10 prints. Sold by packs of 10 so the investment is small.
Order the bellly strap( think that is the name) to wrap around for finished look.

MPIX drop ships now. It's a white box with no company identifiers on it.

I like the new CD cases and the trio of slipcased albums, too. Wish they had more options for cover fabrics, though.
