Looks good - so is this an adapter for an old macro lens or a reverse mount adapter for a "normal" lens ?

basically, i took the end cap from an old 28mm thread mount sears lens and cut the top off, so it was just a hollow cylinder with the threading inside. then i hot glued it to the k mount bayonet piece of my cheap macro tube. so what i got was a k mount to thread mount adaptor. then i screwed in the 28mm lens. since there was space inbetween them, i wasnt able to achieve infinite focus. so in turn, it turned out to act like a macro tube. does that make any sense? lol.

There is no reason why such a device should not work, for manual operation of lenses, but it has to be fitted accurately, and be rigid enough, so that the long axis of the lens is perfectly perpendicular to the film/sensor plane when in use.
