Looking at some old scans, I am thinking of going back to my Kiev 60 and beloved Mamiya 7 for landscapes. Just not too happy with my 5D digital outcomes.
What are good ISO 160 and 400 **print films** these days in 120 format with good contrast and <very important> easy to scan? I used to shoot Velvia 50 back then, but was never able to scan it right. NPC, NPH and Kodak VC(?) on the other hand were great. Is there a better film out there these days with even better dynamic range?
Thanks guys. How is the Fuji 400C for dimmer light condition? Their literature says it's for portraits and skin tones. Does it mean it's a lower-contrast film? I do enjoy shooting during the quiet-light hours.
I haven't tried the 400C. There is a portrait version of the 160C. I haven't gotten around to comparing the two for landscape (which is all that I do with my RB67). I would tend to think that the portrait version would work better in a high contrast situation.....but like I said I haven't tried it.
