p.1 #1 · 1Ds Mark III - sensor cleaning

So it is true that the 1Ds has the automatic sensor cleaning mechanism. This is great a thing, but eventually dust particles will accumulate. So my question for other 1Ds MIII owners, is What do you use when you have to clean this. On my second body (5D) I have been using Visible Dust Sensor.

Thanks !

The sensor cleaning mechanism is fairly ineffective. Or at least if you change lenses in the field you'll still need to do some manual cleaning... I use a Rocketblower to knock off the more loose particles, and for the tougher particles I use Sensor Swabs with Eclipse fluid. This gets it 100% clean every time.

Thanks Guys,

This is useful, it is not a big deal now, but while doing some landscaping and shooting at higher than F22, I noticed a little of debris so soon or later, i will give it a clean.
