No. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but these aspen EYES are watching YOU.
This was on the east side of Owl Creek Pass, near Ridgeway, CO in mid October.
Just before it started snowing the light went very flat and killed the dazzling golden colors. That same dull light also creates opportunities for relative close-ups. I hope you like this one. http://www.hw-photos.com/forums/sw08-colorado-2355-1a6.jpg
Love the depth and clarity. The sharpness throughout is impressive at 70mm and f/11. I would have thought on a ff it would have been tougher to get that?

I like it, Henry, but aren't Aspens supposed to have initials and hearts carved into their bark?
Hi Bud,
We have all seen way too much of that. We ran into a few aspen "taggers" near Flagstaff. I hollared at them that they can't do that to MY trees. They didn't speak english but my feeble espanol convinced them that it was the wrong thing to do in my country. They left sheepishly.
Win a few........
Henry I love the tight composition of this one. I’ve tried to set one of these shoot up when I was out in the GTNP to me it’s hard to make it look this good. I’ll keep trying, you gave me some ideas...............
