I love the Monkey on the floor is that with the 28 also?
I looked for this lens a while back and couldn't find it anywhere. I have a 28 2.8 and love the range but wanted one faster. I have heard story's of people wanting upwards of 1k for them ??

I've seen them listed on ebay in the 4-5K range.... don't know if they've ever brought that much in... but that's what some people (Hong Kong Collector distributors) are asking for them...
would love one.... and would even willingly pay 1200-1500 for one.... but definitely not 3000, I'd rather get a 300 f2.8 for that...

Thanks! What makes this lens interesting to me is the sweet bokeh and it's close focus abilities. It's like the Zeizz Distagon F 50/2.8 (kind of). Great lens, but not the holy grail some people would have you believe. There is so much more than speed. All the discussions of 50/1.8 vs 1.4 spring to mind... a lot of people think that the fastest lenses also are the sharpest lenses etc.
