I took my wife to Martha's Vineyard for our anniversary this last summer because she always wanted to go. We rented a Moped and rode around for two days. (I know the locals hate it, but it was easy to get around) I was able to take a good number of images that I finally just got around to processing.
This is the Edgartown Lighthouse which I shot 30 minutes after sunset but the fog was rolling in from Nantucket Sound so heavy, that this was a 3.2 second exposure at f/5 with no filters. C&C welcome.
Thank you, I like the B&W's grittyness too. I used Nik Silver Efex Pro for the conversion. It was my first try with the software. I might have been a little heavy handed with it but I liked it when I was done.
I also like the gritty grain shown in the black n white. It gives a nice feel. How do you like the Silver Efex Pro software? I see it was just reviewed in Photoshop User.
