p.1 #1 · Fall patterns and more

hello everyone. here are a few shots from this fall. C&C is always welcome, for it will help me to improve. I am just now trying to get in to landscape photography but seem to lack composition. I would love to here your suggestions.

For me the second photo and the last photo have the best comps. The leading line in the second one though, leads your eye out of the photo. The third photo is kind of mysterious...but does it have enough to hold the viewers interest? Just some thoughts.

Hey Joe,

Some nice work here, and nice moods you have created. #1 is my favorite. I love that windy path in it. I have only the smallest of suggestions for it, at the top where the stone path ends there looks to be a wooden post right on the edge of the frame. It's very distracting. Anything that is partially in the scene like that, draws the eyes. I would clone that baby out...

#3 is pretty cool too, I would have plucked that one piece of grass poking up in the middle though... it really takes away from the shot. So for now, I think it's time to get some practice work with your cloning tool...

great! thanks for the thoughts. I see how these things can be distracting. And yes the path does lead you out of the frame, but I thought that better than right into the front of our 2002 Chrysler town and country that was parks right out of frame.

Thanks guys! I really need this.
