These are somewhere in the middle between the old and new huntsman shot.

Plume Moth. Manual stack of 3 images. Painstaking work painting out the mask, hopefully the effect is not obvious.

I like the moth in the first frame as well -looks like you did a really good job on the stack

MichAg, yeah I have to say those plume moth are one of my fave subject, it's just so damn cool!! Unfortunately that was the only time I've ever found one.

Kenny, it was shot with the popup flash and DIY reflector way before I got the MT-24EX.

John, I think that Ladybird is found only in Australia so you'll probably never see it unless you come here.

One more thing you may or may not notice, the leaf was HEAVILY retouched. It was just filthy. It would've been very distracting if I didn't clone them out.

I believe it is a fungus-eating ladybird Illeis galbula.
