I see the columns as order....the snow as chaos...taken this a.m. - early...after a very surprise snow storm....

I love it! Even the footsteps add to the chaos that you mentioned. Great tones. Keep it up.

Ted and Nate...thank you for the vote of confidence. This is only the 2nd time i have entered anything into the monthly (or weekly) assignments. Appreciate it. Today was a great day to be out shooting....new tripod.....new 10" of snow.

Well done, I might suggest doing a rotation in your image editing application. Right side is higher than the left side - er, or is it an optical illusion

I think it is a bit of lens distortion with the wide angle....the verticals are pretty straight and plumb....but you are right the cross beams aren't....I may see if I can correct the perspective a bit...

this looks fine , only a view camera really does this with ease , I think you could make it "perfect" but I don't really think it matters much, I am no good at perspective correction so I cannot help any more that this

Thanks John...this sort of thing isn't even visible in landscapes, is it?

I find that during composition, i can either concentrate on getting the verticals straight, or the horizontals...take my pick...When using a wide angle lens at least.

Randy, Very nice image. The choice of B&W really accentuates the columns.
