p.1 #1 · orchard single image hdr

looking through older images and decided to work on this one a bit. it was actually taken late spring soon after i got my camera. i didnt want this to look like it was necessarily hdr (or pseudo-hdr) but i did run it through photomatix using rather conservative settings

looks good, you can't really tell its HDR (except for you telling us) theres still alot of depth to it

Love the clouds, but I would have preferred the empty space to the left of the tree to be on the right. It would have improved the compositional flow of the image. Maybe you should just crop it to a 4x5 ratio, taking off some of the left side.

Hey Sean,

It's not too bad. I like the way the tree and the area around it is lit up with your HDR work. I do wish the clouds weren't quite so black.

I love the black clouds, but the pinkish orange on the left really makes it. Well done.

thanks Tim. as was mentioned above, the composition probably could have been improved but i didnt want to get rid of the pink in the clouds!
