This does not qualify for Photoshop section in my opinion.
However, should any objections be made I will agree with the post relocation.

One of my recent walkabouts shots with my photo mapped onto one of the buildings.

PS And yes, I have been told I look like Alexei Sayle.

PPS Sorry, sentence re-edit resulted in a horrendous typo...corrected..

Konichiwa!

Because the image is so large, I did not see your SP at first.

Then...I scrolled right and smiled.

My Simple Suggestion: Resize the image to a little smaller so it fits in a 1024 x 768 19" monitor browser window without scrolling up or down.

Clever self-portrait. I have not seen that done on here (FM) before.

The "Larger than life" image is...."awesome"

Good concept.

I hope these comments help and encourage you.

Really cool idea! My only suggestion is to bump up the contrast in the actual self portrait so it matches the rest of the photo. Good job!

Konnichiwa! (actually Konbanwa here at the moment..)

Your comments are always welcome and interesting to read. The actual shot was taken ages ago back in our home in Sweden using a small hand held Sony DSC F55V (my first venture into the digital world).

Usually I don't stick to photos but prefer to be on the other side of the camera.

Resize that is!
Also, as suggested by Seth, contrast of the mapped photo bumped up a notch and cropped prior to resizing.

The result:

The bumped contrast looks great but I like your original crop way better!

su-go-i photo. Only one of about 3 Japanese words that i know. My wife is from Chiba City, so you would think I would know more. That's a great idea. Very creative and well executed

Thank you very much for all your comments.
Shame about the crop - you are absolutely right, it worked much better originally but I believe a lot of detail would be lost in a resize.
For example, the original full size images got "scan lines" simulation across mapped portrait as I wanted to make it as a large video screen....

I have been using photoshop since v5, but never bothered to go deep into it, which I aim to now. There is a ton of fun one can create with camera and Photoshop besides all that model skin smoothing and wrinkle removing...
