My daughter (age 10) has been bugging me about a digital camera for months. I had bought a used Canon S400 on ebay and decided that after using a dslr, I can't stand a p&s, so I gave it to her. She was so delighted until.....about 30 minutes later, the cat knocked it off the table and the lcd no longer works. But...I've always told her:

"You either have nice stuff...or you have cats".
