Just trying to scan in the film version of this now, i'll have to take it down to a proper place to do it justice though, soemthing tells me my little V500 isnt going to be best for it!

Yeah the pano is better, but the comp/crop could be different. The waterfall is too centred and you have nice growth on the rocks that you have not really presented. The left 1/3 of the photo is not adding much, maybe crop it out? Is it easy to achieve hyperfocal with this camera and do a nice closeup of the rocks with the fall in the BG and keep it all sharp?

love the pano - gives much more of a story of kinda being in the jungle.

Hyperfocal isnt really easy with that lens, it was stoped down to f45 and still you only get ~3m-inf in focus (even when hyperfocaled), so its not the best when you've got rocks 3 feet in front of the lens!

I might play around with the crop after i get it scanned properly.

Maybe 2 exposures then, one with the focus in the BG, one for the rocks, scan and blend in PS

I really like it anyway...
