I'm dying to know if this is a somewhat new gown, or someone's 80s gown you got at Goodwill (do they have those in Canada??).
I'm digging the Vanity Fair shoot and the construction shoot. Vanity Fair shoot shot with a strobe and modifier of some sort? Like Umbrella? Or you have a really nice window next to the couch.

1st one works really well.
It begs to have her on some vintage furniture and IMO would finish off the already really good shot nicely.
Deb, there are Goodwill's in Canada. Never actually found any wedding dresses there. (none worth shooting at least)
Craigslist is really good for finding deals.
I am going to assume it's an older dress, and the shoulder fluff suggests it.
Most modern Gothic gowns don't have the fluffy shoulders...

Dude -- they have some of the ugliest wedding dresses ever at our goodwills here. I should know - I've been commissioned by family members to drop some off! Yeah, the shoulder fluff is screaming 80s.

They look great, especially the first few. Lighting on the vanity, moody, red, and couch shots are phenomenal. My criticism would be on the last one. I'm guessing you're going for the urban look, but for me, the tones on her face seems off. For some reason, it seems like the top right part of her face had more highlight when comparing the rest of the image. Just my .02.

The couch shot is the one! I love it! The rest are great but the couch shot sticks out in my mind far above the rest, it's just really great! I am going with Deb on the got it from Goodwill assumption... Are we right??

nice pictures. i like the vanity fair one and the APPLE ones most, especially the first apple one. its like a real subtle cross processed look to me with the greens and yellows but the other colors look nice and vivid. i think you were just messing around but im not feeling the couch shot too much. it makes me think 'half woman/half couch'
This post has been a great eye opener to what I perceive to be good and what others find good versus not so good. It's a bit unnerving, actually, because though I created the images, I can't see what the majority find as 'the best' ones versus not. Everyone, sincerely, thanks for your opinions, they are valued!!
