rburbank Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · first stitched panorama this is my first stitched panorama ever...let alone posted here... consists of two shots...Shoshone Falls on the Snake River. There is hardly any water going over the falls right now, but come spring time pretty much the entire area from left to right will be covered with water. Sorry there isn't much in here for scale reference, but here are some specs. to give you an idea....the falls is 212 feet high...from left to right it is 1000 feet across. I was shooting from the opposite side of the canyon...approximately 1/4 mile away from the subject. Feb 03, 2004 at 02:12 PM

rburbank Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #3 · first stitched panorama Thanks for the comments Ghphotog...i can't wait for the spring runoff to begin....it really is an awesome sight....in high runoff years the spray creates a cloud over the area that can be seen for miles around... i wasn't actually *thinking* pano when i was shooting these shots....but i was using a tripod...then later, reviewing the shots, i realized that they could be combined into a pano...although i wasn't sure how "successfully" Feb 03, 2004 at 02:59 PM

We haven't had a decent spring runoff or flow in the river for about 3 years now...but this spring should be a screamer. Come March or April, I will be posting updates. Thanks for looking!
