p.1 #1 · 35mm Olympus Shift - stains?

I recently bought this lens which is supposedly in MINT condition. When I turn the front glass at a certain angle I see some small stains inside the front element. I asked the dealer and he said they are Belagflecken (stains in English) and it is normal for such a lens. Umm, am not so sure. I have 4 week return possibility so thought of asking you people who own this glass.

I can not remember having any stains on my copy... It is now sold so I can´t verify this.

Thanks a lot everybody. I will test the lens again today and will return it asap.
overdal, it is perhaps fungus, something I will definitely do not want to worry about.

75% of all lenses I buy one Ebay have some major issue. Seems to be OK for sellers to overgrade, or just plain lie.

Please take a picture of the stain and post same so others may benefit from what to watch out for.

As far as returning the lens, I am with what others have said.... not worth the effort if it was supposed to be in mint condition

Sounds like the "stain" which developed in my binoculars, due to fungus growing between elements
