Found a nice place where the chipmunks and birds are so unafraid they come right up and eat out of my wife's hand. So I got a chance to try out some of the techniques I've learned here:
Both my wife and I have been interacting with wildlife for many years, although it's only recently that I really set out to take some serious photographs. Both of us enjoy just sitting quietly and letting the animals get used to us. While taking this series of shots, I had chipmunks, squirrels, and birds climb up onto my shoulder and head! And for some reason, yellow jackets REALLY were curious about the lenses and camera straps.
but I would be afraid they would like to nibble on my finger
