How many clicks did you put on your 1D before needing a shutter replacement?

Mine's still going strong at 149,649.

First shutter replacement (all pre-emtive replacements):

160,000 on my first 1D body
230,000 on my second 1D body
470,000 on my first MarkII-N body (in its first 9 months of life)
320,000 on my second MarkII-N body
270,000 on my third MarkII-N body

Still have all bodies - cumlative clicks on each of them is about 750,000-1,200,000.

Ah, someone else who remembers that AMC wasn't just a soap opera and a cable movie channel.

Haven't yet lost a shutter in 1D, 1D2, 1DIII, so nothing to be learned from actuations - none past 30K yet anyway.

Got my 1st Mark IIn in Nov 2 yrs ago and by the following March the shutter died and I only had approx 50,000.

Canon repaired it under warranty and since then I have put almost 400,000 clicks on it and it's still going strong

(Heck, the first weekend I had that camera I took 42,000 shots shooting barrel racing!!!!)

66K on 1st 1D2N, Original Shutter
35K on 2nd 1D2N, Original Shutter

I usually, shoot an Avg of 10-20K per month, but since August, I have not shot much, so my numbers are down.

By Far, me thinks, that Brian's bodies will have more clicks, than anyone else that answers' this poll. There are a few guys on SS, that have original 1D's, that are pushing towards 1 Million. ......
