Jokes aside...really, I mean when you reached that level of skills like in #3,4,5,6,15,16 where do you go from there?
Here's to lots more crappy threads from you dude

P.S. You've been an inspiration all-right..whenever I see ur shots I feel like trashing all my archive!!

ZOOM, that name is synonomous with image impressionisim IMO Judging by your likeable kite shot, it is evident that the bird along with the form was to be key ingredients in your pursuit of bird photography, more than 'just the bird' is apparent in all your shots.
Over my course of being here on FM N&W a few images have captured me in dramatic ways, Chad just recently posted one and with gleam I see your Shot #4 posted again, I had saved that image earlier as a goal, I felt it was phenominal and still do

Karl,

You write too much

I have very few of my own images that I find inspirational to myself and look to others on this forum and elsewhere to keep driving me to find more and better ways to captures Mother Nature's little creatures

Yes, I've gone beyond trying to just record their presence and that appears to be what separates the snap shooter from the serious hobbyist. I succeed sometimes and fail miserably a lot more than that.

There is a long laundry list of old timers on this forum who's work I have been inspired by - Jody, Socrate, Dave, Thang, Ken H, Steve, Tony, Maggie, Shelley, Monkey, etc, and the newcomers like yourself, Anthony, Tim, Shad, Nello, Ted, etc who are showing the same passion I showed when 1st arrived on the scene. As with any such endeavor the competition and the challenge is a driving force that keeps us interested and wanting more. The fact that we get to do this in the great out of doors is just icing on the cake.

So, in conclusion, I appreciate your very kind and supportive comments and look forward to many such exchanges of conversation in the future

I hope I wrote enough in response to repay you in kind

Ken

I wonder if Karl will even read this..... I wonder if anyone ever reads my replies.... I just wonder.... does that make me wonderful?

I'm a new member here and I have to say that this is a fantastic series.! You masterfully captured "the moments","the actions" and "the stories" of the birds and these are great examples for me to look up to. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Hide, there are many on this forum to draw inspiration from and I thank you for looking to me as part of that group. Your AZ hummer shots were a great introduction to the group and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Congratulations again on your 7000th post

Lil

Not really a milestone, Lil. Just a post count Glad you got to see some of the past work and hope I don't bore you to death with my stilt pictures in the future

I only managed to pass you by because I didn't take time out of recent recent life to sire a daughter like you did. That milestone was much more important than this

Congratulations Ken.

You were at 100mm?? How did you manage that?

It's just breathtaking!
