p.1 #1 · Preferred Publications

I've been considering subscribing to a few wedding magazines to get a feel for what's out there and keep myself in the loop on trends et cetera. There seems to be a great many, and I don't really know where to start, so I figured I would ask you guys which publications are the best and most applicable to our line of work.

I'm looking for two or three of your favorites...

Go to Barnes & Noble.
Pick up the ones that catch your eyes first.
Flip thru and process.

Let sit and brainstorm as needed.

If this were an assignment you would not have gotten a good grade.

The Knot always comes out with a huge magazine each year with everything a bride needs to plan her wedding. I always like to pick this up so I can prepare answers to the questions that the brides will ask me verbatim from the magazine. I usually have 3-4 smart ass answers stored up for some of the stupid questions that magazine almost forces them to ask.

Rangefinder (while not a Wedding magazine) always has a great wedding issue.

As asimsoofi said, I usually just go and pick up the one that catches my eye first. That is probably going to be the one with the most that you get out of it.

You are expecting answers without doing some work. However, the answers lie in going out and looking for yourself because you have to get what connects with you.

If I say a name of a mag, will you blindly subscribe? You'll still go check it out.

This is your homework bro. Not mine.

Leave the wedding mags where they are. Broaden the horizon.
