<edit> had a couple people ask sooooo: 5D with combo of 50 1.2 and 70-200 2.8 IS.
k: thanks for the props. i don't think she was constipated, more just trying to fight back her natural smile.
daniel: i really appreciate the compliments and considering your work it carries much weight. i'll probably play around with 7 a lil more, but i'm trying to simplify things right now.
jacob: thanks man, but you've got to check out some of the other members' stuff on here.
jason: i will admit, my face was hurting from laughing and smiling so much.
spencer: you're too kind. #2 actually had one 580 at fp to the right. I have a bunch more from this set and some others that I used this and the video light set-up on. natural light is so underrated. oh yeah, on #8. that shot was for me, they'll probably never make a 30x40 out of it, but it defines the reaches of my creativity. yes, it is a crusty side-view mirror. to all of you who knock it because it is different, think for a moment, then type.
sergio: jea!
sam: thanks, i'm going to try and step it up when I go to NYC next week! We'll see.
chris: you're awesome. thanks for the holga actions, i haven't tried 'em out yet but i will.
jclay: dude, neg space is where its at. there is so much you can do with it and i think the enormity of it brings you that much closer to the subject. it has to be done right though.
12 is my favorite. Some of your best work posted here. It's nice and trendy
To answer your flickr question: upload the size you want to display on FM to flickr. I usually use 750 or 800px to a side. Then, when you are adding the links to your post, use the "all sizes" then "original" links in flickr to get the exact url of the "full size" image on flickr.
Lightroom is great for ripping some JPEGs to a specific size. There is also a neat plugin for Lightroom that lets you load directly to Flickr straight from LR. I believe it's called Flickr Uploadr
there are a lot of strong images here. Great job Scott! Would I be correct in saying there are 3 outfits here? I am going to start tellin my clients to bring a change of clothes. I have had too many issues with that this year in my e-sessions. How long did this shoot take you?
Martin, yes 3 outfits and the shoot lasted about 4 hrs, including a Starbucks break and driving from locations (about 2.5 hrs total shooting time). I was filming a promo video so I wanted to make sure we had some nice footage. Most couples do two outfits. One thing that I "all but" require is for couples to bring multiple outfits and let me "help" them in deciding the best one.
dang man bangin pics! 8 9 10 11 12 and especially 13.. im diggin' the way your use of the lines. Definitely a great set..they'll be happy with these...

I just hired a guy to shoot mine. Have you seen Braeden's? Killer!!
Conrad, thanks man. when are we gonna shoot again? that was fun.
Sam, just checked that out! Raaaadness. That is totally the look and feel I'm going for, a mix of that and Lorimerworks style. I'm going to be doing several this year. New website shall bloweth up!
I think they are mostly very good. I don't like #8 or #10 much at all. It is regrettable IMO that the foot was chopped in #12, otherwise I like it. Thanks for sharing.
This is a really great set. Love your subtle use of light in these: very sophisticated. The lighting on 12, in particular, displays real mastery in that dept.
A handful, like #11, seem a bit forced in the posing, while shots like #10 are much more relaxed and natural looking.
