Thanks Doug, She learned quick, I let her use my Old D60, 180 macro, flash and tripod of course. All in all she has only fired 200 plus frames out of the camera . She is now bored with it all. One wound up Ranger Rick, One took Grand Prize at the Dallas zoo Photo contest, two years, and one took second last year. Oops that was a spider shot.
My fave is #1&2. Wish digital camera was around when I was a kid. Film photography was just too damn expensive a hobby to indulge an 11 year old back then.
10 $ dollars an hr being a junior instructor and no I won't pay my travel expenses to your house ( getting cold here and no good subjects left around )
She certainly has her dad's great eye for composition, though I think to be completely honest your top three images are the real pick of the bunch from a colour/composition/impact point of view! (That's not to belittle your daughters work at all, just that you put up some seriously cool shots there!!)
Great work both of you! (And I hope she doesn't stay bored, I would suggest taking shots like that at her age shows a natural talent - it would be a real shame not to use that!)
