p.1 #1 · Help with Rain/Snow covers

I'm looking for a rain/snow cover for a 5D (and other non-1D bodies)...specifically for use when traveling/back-country camping where I may be exposed to the elements whith little or no cover. I don't mean 'exposed' as in a full-blown rain storm but rather like a light sprinkle, snow, or mist from a waterfall. Below are some example products that I found on the web but what I'm looking for is real-world practical experience...someone who's actually used one of these and can say whether or not they are useful. Any advise regarding real-world effectiveness would be appreciated. Thanks!

Omar

The simplest and most "usable" is from Optech called the Rainsleeve.

A notch above would be something like fotosharp rain cover.

I have one and find it to be very nicely designed.

I use Optech's clear plastic cover when needed, it's cheap, and easy to stow. I also have Pelican's protector, which is more like an insulated glove, very heavy duty and well made.

The Optech is always with me (usually) for the just in case, the Pelican is used when I know I'll be in foul weather.
