I always take lots of pictures of children at weddings.
The last one on my blog was so fun for me but also one of the most emotional wedding I've ever been. More on my blog
Kids pictures at weddings are always great. Just makes sure the kid is related to the bride and groom and you're in business. I've heard a number of people complain when they get their wedding pictures that there's tons of pictures of somebody's kid and they're not even sure who it is...
(not complaining to me about my work, of course... rather I've heard stories... promise....)

I agree. I only take pictures of kids that are in the wedding party or those that are direct family. I never shoot pictures of just anyone's kids. To me, they shouldn't be brought to the wedding in the first place unless the bride and groom adds their name on the invitation. Yvette

Jim, nice image, slightly too much on the left for me but still loving it.
Thank you morganb4. I wanted the width plus used the large tree on the left to balance out the kids.
It's really a first draft and I'm pondering ideas of where to take it. I may take it way out there for my own amusement and I'll keep in mind your width concern.
I have to respectively disagree with morganb4. I think Jims shot looks great with all of the space on the left - it adds so much to the since that these kids are off on their own, doing their own thing.
And when the videographer and the photographer start entertaining the b&g's son and niece you get something like this. The parents were pretty cool about it.
