I like the squirrel shots, Ant. They are very cool. The way I see the second shot, looks like s/he is about to raise its middle finger. . I believe s/he was just trying to help you and was going to show you a bird.
Congrats on your KF shot, and good job with the exposure in the IF shot.
Good job also with the Bittern picking your way through all that stuff around it.
Socrate
Thanks Shasoc > I had not considered that it was going to flip me the bird Now that would have been a nice photo
Hey Ant, I'm REALLY impressed with your Bittern shots, particularly when you had to focus through all those reeds. And just super lighting there. And congrats on the Mrs KF shot, I'm sure it will be the first of many especially as they seem to be spotted all over the California coast now. But the California Bald Eagle is my fave of the set, Ant. I think most folks take if for granted that anyone can get a good shot of it, but it's more difficult than you'd think. You got the light, shadows, color, details, and blue sky with fluffy clouds there. I think you're ready for Mono Lake where most of the California BEs are born
Anthony,
# 2 is "Don't you Dare mess With ME."
Congratulations on the Kingfisher. Neat to get a new one
Got to love the expression you got on # 8 & 9
And I also like # 6 a lot
Lil
Thanks Lil glad you liked em. I like your caption also Good one
Ant
Nice shots Anthony and congrats on the KF. You know you need to do some PP work and put a liquor bottle in the hand of that squirell in #2 don't you?
Steve
Thanks Steve > Good thought on the bottle Maybe a good wine bottle will do
you got me goin' for a sec. w the Cali Bald Eagle
Your 1st KF looks like an Hdr I can see you tried to keep the whites in place...I had the same problem! the bitterns are sweet captures...amazing you still managed to focus through all that cr*p
Tough night out that night-heron huh
Hi Ant, pretty sweet odds and ends I'd say
Both the Squirrel shots are great with super detail. Nice catch on the Bitty and great job on focus through the reeds . A hearty congrats on the Belted and now that you know how to stalk them I know there will be many more great shots to come
Ant, you've got to send #4 to Mr.lbuscher ! He will absolutely love it! You have given me the best laugh I have had in a long while. Thank you, friend. BP
Hey Ant, congrats on your first KF shot! My favorite of this set is #6, I really like the bittern in the environment the way you got it. 5 is really nice too.
