p.1 #1 · Article on CNN.com about Kodakchrome

http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/biztech/09/22/kodakchrome.fading.ap/index.html

I live in Rochester, worked downtown at headquarters as a customer service rep supervisor for digital cameras for a few years until they shipped our jobs to Manilla. Got to go to some of their film plants too, very cool to see the scale that they were producing film at. My girlfriend was a physical therapist for them for years in those plants, getting the workers warmed up and stretched out before they started their day.

I apologize if it's a repost.

p.1 #2 · Article on CNN.com about Kodakchrome

This stupid article has appeared everywhere. It leaves people with the false impression that Kodak has killed Kodachrome when what it's really about is that there's this one guy who FEARS that Kodak will kill Kodachrome.

The article also falsely implies (probably because the author didn't know any better) that Kodachrome used to be developed anywhere when you always had to send it to Kodak. So yes, now there is one place in the U.S. where it's processed and it's not Kodak. So what? It's just a different one place.

I'm sure that sometime in the next few years, Kodak will stop producing Kodachrome. But that time isn't here yet and I'm sick of people posting this poorly conceived article.
